The brief asked us to craft spaces of the house such that it echoes the personality of the owner, creating areas that reflect his ethos using elements of neutral tones. Clean lines and spacious rooms blessed with an abundance of light, wide sight-lines and an uncluttered aesthetic with the not stark yet evident difference between the private and the public, were the primary aspects of the brief.

Driven by the idea of creating an algorithm that works on spatial configurations, our approach was to bring about a radical transformation in the existing conditions, to incept a promised new look. The pre-existing layout of the residence consisted of 4.5 bedrooms & auxiliary living spaces initially organized in a boxy arrangement, full of partition walls & spatial barriers. We saw great potential in the idea of opening up the structural framework, letting the niches breathe. Therefore, with an open plan arrangement strategy, we intended to create flexible spaces that assured natural light & ventilation.

The 2200sq ft residential apartment is a simplistic design with a modern yet chic look. The foyer opens out into a Formal Living area that entertains guests for both business and social gatherings. Space, therefore, is a blend of rigid linear arrangements of customized furniture accompanied by a warm grey-beige palette seamlessly flowing into the outdoors.

The Terrace is a similar kind of setup where the outdoor area visually plays indoors yet maintaining a harmonious flow between the space via large bi-fold windows. A large Canopy in black powder-coated M.S (Mild Steel) columns with precisely angled fins efficiently performing the act of shading. Teakwood Jhula hung from the canopy adds to the perfect outdoor furniture. A Live green wall creates an appealing backdrop for the entire setup. The timer-based mechanism and mobile app-controlled irrigation system of the vertical garden allow the client to be carefree about watering his plants when traveling.

Family Lounge, one that is more private, is designed with sleek contemporary furniture for seamless movement through the layout. The cozy 4+2 Lounger with chaise
arrangement invites for family layabouts over their favorite TV shows and Karaoke sessions.

The Dining area occupies a central spot in the planning and is strategically placed adjacent to the Kitchen. The Dining table is customized and detailed to match the fixed furniture around.

An exquisite Chandelier made with 28 pieces of onyx stone discs adds to the grandeur of the entire space. The sleek furniture organizes the vastness of the open room, providing an edge for honesty.

A champagne gold finished partition Jali partially screens the Mandir behind adding character to the whole space.

When Food and entertainment are central to the Family's home life, ergonomic design and simple details tailor the way to a complete cooking experience. Smooth edges, finger grooves, profile bars, and single-colored finish on the cabinet adds to the ultra-modern and polished look of the Kitchen.

The Master bedroom nuzzles with the idea of space evolution. Combating the space crunch challenge by consciously intervening in the geometry of an existing toilet makes room for a walk-in wardrobe. With a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication, the bedroom is a reflection of modern-day Luxury. A dark bathroom with moody and slightly edgy nature gives it an aura of unparalleled elegance.

The Study acts as a visual anchor in the master bedroom, justifying its primary function. Floating shelves are perfect for an apartment that is short on wall space or any home that needs an extra touch of the display area.

The feminine charm in this beautifully designed bedroom with relaxing muted tones goes unmissable. The wardrobes are strategically placed, leaving plenty of storage for the client's generous saree collection and accessories yet, maintaining a fresh palette allows the room to feel open and spacious.

The west-facing bedroom offers mesmerizing views of the sunset. The steady line of the horizon finds its way into the room extending through the elevation of the space. With a minimalist approach, this bedroom comes together with the juxtaposition of clean lines, colors, and textures. The overall effect is that of sobriety and restraint, creating a rich and tasteful atmosphere.
