Afnan is a striking example of a modern contemporary house, its architectural elements lies in geometric shapes and a minimalist colour palette,presenting a visually stunning exterior. Modern elegance meets urban tranquility at this single family residence in kathrikadavu ernakulam, the heart of the city. Afnan is a blend of urban flair and serene privacy,creating a harmonious environment that captures the essence of contemporary living. The goal is to provide a living environment that seamlessly blends enhanced privacy with the luxury of expansive, open spaces, redifining modern residential living. The central requirement for this project revolves around the inclusion of five bedrooms, with a primary focus on ensuring utmost privacy and a refreshing sense of openness. Each spaces allow abundant natural light and air flow ensures a breathable atmosphere throughout, enhancing the overall comfort and wellbeing of those inhabiting the bedrooms.

 

This project creatively addresses the lack of outdoor views in urban setting. What sets this project apart is the intentional incoperation of outdoor like views and atmosphere withing indoor setting by introducing a distinctive twin trapezoidal courtyard design,connected by a bridge. The bridge serves as a seamless connection between two wings of the house. The openable courtyard, featuring retractable roofing, serve as flexible spaces for different seasons,providing both a breath of fresh air and source of natural light to enhance the indoor environment.
