Imagine sipping your morning coffee as the gentle breeze from the lake brushes past, or spending a leisurely weekend with friends by the pool, laughter echoing across the water. A dream home that offers quiet intimacy while remaining open to moments of gathering. This is the experience at Anvaya Residence. A stepped approach taking advantage of the site’s gentle slope leads to the home, where tumbled stone elevations meet glazed walls framing the lake, inviting a pause from Hyderabad’s pace.

The site unfolds across three wings. The entertainment wing appears first, glazed walls framing uninterrupted views of the lake. Beyond it, the pool creates a moment of stillness before leading into the main home, while a discreet utility wing tucks the wet kitchen away from daily life.

The entertainment wing rises as an L-shaped block, its glazed walls framing uninterrupted views of both the pool and the lake. Inside, spaces flow seamlessly, where a poker table and seating invite leisurely gatherings. A bar, crafted from a salvaged steel barrel sourced from a Nashik vineyard and paired with repurposed steel rods, brings a rustic touch while retaining industrial refinement. For the client, a CEO of an infrastructure firm, the wing accommodates informal meetings with ease, maintaining a social, relaxed ambience while subtly conveying understated luxury.

The core volume of the home opens into a soaring double-height entrance, where a sculptural chandelier spirals downward. Large glazed facades frame the lake like a living painting, its colours shifting throughout the day. Sunlight floods the 14-foot ceilings, illuminating textures and architectural details, while high ceilings, cross-ventilation, ceiling fans, and generous windows keep the interiors cool, airy, and comfortable in the humid lakeside climate.
