Kallingal – The House of Arches

In Kakkanad, Kochi, Kallingal – The House of Arches stands as an architectural revival where legacy meets luxury. What was once an old family home has been re-envisioned into a 3,500 sq.ft. timeless residence that harmoniously blends the essence of traditional Kerala architecture with refined contemporary design.

Conceptualized and executed by The Design Verses for Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Leela, the project encompassed complete site redevelopment — from architectural planning and interior design to landscape design and execution. Signature arches define the spatial experience, while the thoughtful interplay of materials, textures, and soft landscaping lends the home a sense of warmth and continuity.

Balancing heritage with modern comfort, Kallingal transcends the idea of a mere residence to become a crafted experience of living — rooted in tradition, yet effortlessly modern.
