The brief from a young couple was to have an open airy space with minimum maintenance, subtle colors and aesthetically pleasing vibes while still keeping the functionality of the space intact. A spacious look, easy maintenance for modern life in a fixed space and optimizing all resources was the priority of this project. Fusion of contemporary materials with rich deep colors, dramatic touches and some classics were the core dynamics of this project.
Living room, narrating stories of calmness and tranquility, and setting the warmth as one enters the house. The featured wall behind the sofa makes the statement with different types of groove details and curves which is done in pop punning with paint finish. The TV unit has been kept sleek which is finished with veneer look laminate & Elevated mandir is placed in the corner while keeping Vaastu in mind which is also finished with paint, matching the function of the room.
A minimal partition that has wooden parts with fluted glass details that gives some sort of privacy to the kitchen area. An Indian granite Steel grey countertop stone with laminate finished under counter shutters gives a classy look to the space. The overhead shutters are finished with a shade of greens giving warmth and calm to the kitchen. The folding dining table is designed to optimize the space and creates a perfect breakfast nook for the couple.
Master bedroom had been kept very minimal and monochromatic. Fluted MDF paneling on wall which is finished with paint. Minimal groove detail on wardrobe shutters finished with laminate which has a tall niche with dressing table comes together perfectly as the client required in that space. Hanging lights in the corner and grooves on the other side of the ceiling creates perfect relaxed space for the couple while using greys balance out the dynamics of the space.
In the guest bedroom, as went enter the room wall paneling along with dressing mirror creates a drama but in a subtle way. To compliment the paneling, groove pattern is designed on the wardrobe shutters. Use of blush pink and sage green adds a fun charm to overall space.
