A Soft Collision of Boho Warmth and Neoclassical Precision

In this thoughtfully detailed 1200 sq ft apartment, Reborn Design Studio composes a visual poem where boho ease meets neoclassical restraint. Designed for a multigenerational family of five, the home celebrates layered living—where textures, memories, and moods blend seamlessly into a cohesive, contemporary narrative.

The living–dining space unfolds as an open, light-drenched volume, defined by sculpted mouldings that quietly anchor the neoclassical framework. Against this architectural subtlety, bohemian accents—woven textiles, natural fibres, cane surfaces, and organic silhouettes—introduce fluidity and soul. The palette remains calm and sun-washed, allowing patterns and tactile elements to take centre stage without overpowering the room. Circulation is intentionally unobstructed, ensuring comfort for both children and seniors who share the space daily.

The dining area, positioned as a visual extension of the living zone is divided by a slider partition, balances elegance with everyday functionality. A curated blend of warm wood tones, understated lighting, and handcrafted accessories infuses character without clutter. The six-seater setting is scaled to accommodate the entire family, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and adaptable.

Clean lines, soft neutrals, and matte textures allude to the neoclassical mood while allowing the warmth of natural materials to soften the geometry.

Each bedroom carries a distinct identity while staying loyal to the overarching design grammar. The master bedroom leans into refined simplicity—ample amount of light, elegant trims, muted tones, and seamlessly integrated storage create an envelope of calm. The daughters’ shared room is a gentle expression of boho playfulness, with airy hues, multifunctional furniture, and patterns that spark creativity. For the grandparents, comfort leads the aesthetic: ergonomic furniture, slip-resistant surfaces, and decluttered circulation ensure ease without compromising elegance.

Lighting plays a starring role throughout the home. A layered scheme—ambient washes, focused task lighting, and delicate accents—brings out the depth of textures and the nuances of the material palette. Thoughtful layering defines the home’s personality: a harmonious blend of natural fibres, soft fabrics, brushed metallics, and classic architectural lines.
