The Samaa’ residence, a dual-storey home spanning 2950 sq. ft. in Calicut, features an exterior theme characterized by textured canvas. It flourishes with airy, open spaces infused with modern touches, blending contemporary style with seamless textures for enhanced functionality. Double volumetric spaces create expansive, well-lit interiors. “An extra ordinary variant elevation that is not common with double height experience” added the client in the brief.

The entrance showcases volumetric explorations with a welcoming double-height space. Adjacent to the veranda, a patio surrounded by lush greenery enhances the voluminous aesthetics. This leads into the double-height living area, with a view of the industrial wooden staircase framed by the courtyard greenery. The dining area, with its textured finish, is located to one side, while the family living area to the south enjoys evening sunlight, casting golden rays on the stair's glass handrail.

The ground floor accommodates two bedrooms, a guest bedroom, and the master bedroom. A small wooden pooja corner is nestled on the way to the master bedroom. The guest bedroom features a dark, elegant aesthetic with a combination of green and grey textures, while the master bedroom boasts a blue-focused headboard wall facing the garden. The windows ensure the lighting up of the space.

The bedrooms maintain a textured finish theme, complemented by custom teak wood furniture. The kid’s bedroom of the first floor designed in the pink theme as in the brief of the client gives the cute and cosy atmosphere. The flooring features contrast tiles that support the interior theme.

The closed kitchen creates a cohesive and inviting space with its pastel colour palette. The elevation theme blends contemporary functionality with industrial elegance, resulting in aesthetically pleasing spaces. This marvellous architecture form elevation accepts due to its volume the entering of warm natural light and also the cool air flowing to inside.
