Situated in the serene neighbourhood of Vattiyurkavu, Trivandrum, this 2024 residence exemplifies thoughtful spatial continuity and familial connection. The clients’ brief was to create a harmonious link between their existing home and a newly constructed dwelling on an adjacent 5-cent plot, resulting in a twin-house arrangement. A carefully designed connecting passage now unites the two structures, enabling fluid movement between the old and the new. Minor renovations to the existing residence ensured architectural cohesion and visual harmony. The outcome is a balanced blend of nostalgia and contemporary comfort, allowing the family to navigate between memories and modernity with ease.
