The site offered grown mango & chikoo orchard in surrounding & few coconut trees at random location on the site. The concept was to retain all existing trees, plants & create a structure that complements with panoramic view of the landscape & best use of the utilities. Mr. Kushal Bhatt & Mrs. Richa Bhatt are the clients. He is an established developer & entrepreneur. They were aware of our portfolio & our passion for landscape, art, & architecture.

The décor was end result of architects passion & vision for art. Most of the décor is real antiques collected from various sources & travel as per the theme & demand of various spaces. The simplest & functional layout of space planning respecting existing landscape of site, balance of indoor & outdoor spaces & art integration are the standout features of this villa.

The entire villa is split in 2 levels, i.e. the lower level has big garden with guest cottage & the upper level contains the living spaces pavilion & bed room cottages. They created gazebo structure to define the sense of welcome which is design to under shadow by grown mango tree. The stone cladded walls & antique column enhance the entry experience. The lower big size garden is for bigger scale parties & one guest cottage is designed on N/E corner of the garden.

The ‘ENTRANCE TO THE HEAVEN’, one dramatic entrance is created as sense of entry to upper court. That is designed by using vibrant blue colour, antique door, exotic antique sculptures, water body & dense landscape. Once you open the door the wide steps leads you to the upper court that holds guest gazebo, living pavilion, the central pool & bedroom cottages. The living pavilion is pitched roof structure having small verandah, living, dining hall & indoor kitchen. The décor & furniture is done in palatial theme. All furniture & décor is real antique & reclaimed & Re furbished.

The dining gazebo, which is an outdoor living semi covered space is connected to kitchen. The use of reclaimed swing, sofa & chairs with natraj panch dhatu murti makes it more elegant. The dining gazebo over looks the swimming pool. There is a pool gazebo in the big semi covered pitched roof pavilion that overlooks the grand pool & upper court as well visually connects to the huge lower level garden. All the furniture is reclaimed & re-furnished, the swing holds the central location the bar counter is collage of various old elements like door frames, cast iron railing etc.

The bedrooms are detached pitched roof structures, which holds harit kaksh (green bedroom) & aasamami kaksh (blue bedroom). The name itself says the story of these spaces, the heritage style furniture, the soft furnishing decor & lighting recalls the luxury of palace, both the bedroom have built in bath tub & closets. 

The swimming pool is centrally located & visually stich all the 3 pavilions together. The deck have fully grown coconut trees. Retaining & integrating the existing landscape in layout planning and retain it & maintain it while intense construction activities was the biggest challenge. Sourcing all antique furniture & getting good artisans who can refurbish it was also the equal challenge.

Entire living, dining, both gazebo furniture are real antique collected from different sources, all art work of indoor & outdoor are antique of various part of india.
