ELEMENTS”, situated along the East Coast Road (ECR), in Chennai, is a combination of large scale and curated thematic storytelling.

This 16,000 square foot home is designed to feel like a trip around the world. Each part of the house showcases a different interior style, while the whole place stays focused on its minimalist architectural approach.

A lush lawn and a pristine pool define the yard. The greenery around the living area is kept minimal, using pearl grass and Terminalia trees to create a clean, natural look. The house opens up to the tropical garden so well that you can’t tell where the inside ends and the outside begin.

The entrance is all about height and light. A warm wood-panelled ceiling towers over the foyer, holding a stunning 7-foot glass chandelier that acts as the centre piece of the room.

From there all eyes are invited to the simple but minimal designed pooja space and transition point to the semi-public areas.Next to the prayer area, the hallway leads to another highlight: a grand spiral staircase. It’s a mix of different materials, combining heavy black granite steps with a smooth, custom-made wooden handrail.Beyond just being a way up, the staircase serves as a beautiful border between the formal and informal rooms downstairs.

The ground floor includes a formal living room, a large family lounge, two kitchens, and a dining area with views of the garden and pool.

The ground floor bedroom adds a relaxed, playful feel with its Bohemian theme. It features soft textures, bamboo patterns on the ceiling, and earthy hanging lights. The highlight is a four-post bed designed to look like the natural curves of trees. The upstairs landing is a huge lounge connecting the main suites. Every bedroom is uniquely designed with its own special theme.

With its detailed carvings and symmetrical design, the Victorian suite brings the grand style of old European homes to life. The walls are finished with elegant trim and soft colours that make the space feel both formal and cozy. Large windows and classic furniture complete the look, creating a timeless atmosphere that feels like stepping back into a 19th-century palace. Every corner of the room is carefully balanced to offer a sense of luxury and history.

One of the most striking rooms, is the Santorini-themed bedroom. Instead of plain white walls, it features deep blue walls and furniture that mirror the Greek Isles. With a view looking straight over the lawn and swimming pool, it feels like being on the Mediterranean coast. The bathroom continues the theme with blue and white Moroccan tiles and elegant gold fixtures.

The Amazon-themed bedroom feels like a hidden rainforest escape. It uses dark walls, rich wood textures, and plant patterns to create a cozy, secluded vibe. The bunk beds are perfect for sleepovers, and the hut-shaped ceiling with a central chandelier makes it feel like luxury camping around a campfire.
